I am a PhD candidate in political science at the University of Amsterdam and affiliated with the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR) and the programme group Challenges to Democratic Representation. I am currently a visiting scholar at the Quality of Government Institute, in Gothenburg. My PhD research focuses on the policy-feedback link between government performance and political trust and studies the key factors moderating this relationship (including government responsibility, issue salience, and personal experiences). My research interests include political trust, public opinion, political psychology, and performance voting, as well as quantitative methodology.
